Allow yourself to experience in-depth engagement with just a few works of art. These special tours, appropriate for all levels of art enthusiasts, are designed to give you the time and space to discover new insights through slow and careful looking.
Slow Looking Tours will offer several time-honored strategies to foster personal connections to artwork, including Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS). VTS is used in art museums and schools throughout the world to empower people to look closely at images, discovering meaning collaboratively.
The Slow Looking Tour is free with Museum Admission. This tour is offered on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 11:00 AM, contingent upon volunteer guide availability. Meet in the Museum of Art lobby to participate. Space is limited.
