Museum of Art Courtyard

Lend your gathering an air of timeless elegance in a setting that defines romance. Dine and dance into the night surrounded by replicas of ancient Greek, Roman and Baroque statuary on magnificently manicured lawns.

Rental Includes
  • Venue Rental from 5:30 to 11:00 PM
  • Exclusive access to the Museum of Art, 13 Original Galleries for self-guided touring – 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
  • 2-hour photoshoot permit
  • 1-hour event rehearsal
  • Security staffing for the event
  • Minimum of 2 Ringling representatives; Event Coordinator / Logistics Specialist
  • 1-year Ringling Duo Membership for the wedding couple
Price
  • $20,000 + tax (6.5%)
  • Includes up to 125 guests; each additional guest is $35, with a maximum of 400 guests.
Additional Services
  • Services such as food and beverage, tables and chairs etc. must be booked through outside vendors registered with The Ringling. A listing of registered vendors is available upon request. The rental fee is for the venue only and does not include any additional services.
  • Bar service must be provided by The Ringling’s premise partner, Culinary Creations by Metz. All-inclusive rates and incentives are offered when booking both bar and catering services together. Important to Know
  • In the case of inclement weather there is the option of using the covered loggias to accomodate your guests. The Museum of Art Courtyard is strictly an outdoor venue, and indoor space is not available.
  • The Ringling cannot guarantee that scheduled special events, programming, maintenance, or construction will not interfere aesthetically, logistically, or physically with a private rental of The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art Courtyard.
Scheduling Your Event
  • Wedding and receptions may be booked on select Friday and Saturday evenings only. Limited dates are available.
  • Bookings will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment of one-half of the total venue rental fee plus tax is required to secure the date. The second half of the venue rental fee is due 180 days prior to the event date. Final payment aligned with the final guest count will be due two weeks prior to event date.

Ca’ d’Zan Terrace & Bolger Campiello

On the Terrace of Ca’ d’Zan, and the Bolger Campiello, your guests will find themselves swept up in the atmosphere of Sarasota’s most breathtaking setting. As the sun sets over the Bay, the lights of Sarasota, Longboat Key and a sky full of stars illuminate the night, and it is magical!

Rental Includes:
  • Venue access 5:30 to 11:00 PM.
  • Choice of white* or clear** tent on the Campiello
  • Exclusive access to first floor of Ca’ d’Zan for self-guided touring – 5:30 to 7:30 PM
  • 1-hour event rehearsal
  • 2-hour photoshoot permit
  • Security staffing for the event
  • Minimum of 2 Ringling venue representatives; Event Coordinator / Logistics Specialist
  • 1-year Ringling Membership for the wedding couple

  • *Venue rental with standard white tent on Campiello: $26,400 + tax (6.5%)
  • **Venue rental with clear tent on Campiello: $34,800 + tax (6.5%)
  • Includes up to 125 guests; each additional guest is $35, with a maximum of 175 guests.

Important to Know
  • Ca’ d’Zan Terrace may only be used for the wedding ceremony; the cocktail hour and reception must be conducted on the tented Campiello.
  • Ca’ d’Zan does not have an indoor space to accommodate guests in case of inclement weather as it is strictly an outdoor venue.
  • With interior and exterior renovations scheduled to take place at Ca’ d’Zan over the course of the 2023-24 season, The Ringling cannot guarantee that maintenance or construction will not interfere aesthetically, logistically, or physically with a private rental of the venue.

Micro-Weddings

Featured areas of The Ringling are available for micro-weddings seasonally, May 20 – Sep 15. Choose from Mable Ringling’s Rose Garden, the Zodiac Mosaic located on the promenade to Ca’ d’Zan, Ca’ d’Zan Terrace, and the Searing Loggia of the Museum of Art.

Includes

Important to Know
  • The micro-wedding rental is for the venue space only. Bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres are allowed. However, additional equipment such as chairs, or décor may not be brought onto the grounds for Micro-Weddings. The Micro-Wedding option does not include an officiant, photographer, and/or videographer.  A list of vendors registered to provide these services at The Ringling is available upon request.

Chao Lecture Hall

Located on the third floor of the Ting Tsung and Wei Fong Chao Center of Art, the Chao Lecture Hall is a dedicated meeting space able to host up to 100 people. The Chao Lecture Hall features advanced audio / video capabilities and the ability to stream and broadcast virtual events.

  • Up to 100 guests with theater style seating.
  • Up to 36 guests with classroom seating w/ tables (2 per table x 18 tables).
  • Up to 36 guests with conference style seating (various arrangements available).
