Established with The Ringling’s opening in 1946, the Art Library is one of the largest and most comprehensive art research libraries in the southeastern United States.

Collections
The Ringling’s collection began with John Ringling’s original bequest and has since expanded. Strengths of the collection include Renaissance and Baroque paintings, Japanese prints, studio glass, and contemporary art.
